Very informative! Wine tasting was a fun experience. Beautiful grounds. Just wish we had the option to ship to USA

We enjoyed our trip and learnt a lot about the wine making process. Our guide was very knowledgeable however, as a tourist to Australia, it would have been nice to have some time of connection to enable us to get to know each other. The wine tasting was great, lots of different flavours and wine types. It would have been nice to have some food/snacks available to support the drinking process. There was no suggestion to cleanse your glass between wines which could have meant a mixing of tastes and a distortion of the taste. A little time to converse with our group as to how we found each wine would have given more opportunity to connect as a group. The lunch that followed was amazing and the wine of choice fitted perfectly. A lovely experience in all.

Highlights

Take a guided tour of Sirromet Winery in Mount Cotton, near Brisbane, and see up close how its wines are made. Walk around the estate and production areas with an English-speaking guide while learning about Sirromet's history and winemaking. After the tour, taste 6 wines at the cellar door and finish with a 2-course lunch served with a glass of wine. The tour runs in a small group limited to 4 participants.

Program

Go behind the scenes at Sirromet Winery
with a guide

The tour starts at the Sirromet Cellar Door in Mount Cotton. Follow your English-speaking guide around the estate and through the production areas for about 45 minutes, discovering the delicate craft of winemaking at a working winery. You will also hear about Sirromet's history and story.

Taste 6 wines at the cellar door

After the guided tour, head to the cellar door for a tasting of 6 selected Sirromet wines (about 45 minutes). Sample a wide range including whites, reds, sparkling wines and red dessert wines, and you may even be among the first to try a new release.

Enjoy a 2-course lunch with a glass of wine

After the tasting, enjoy a 2-course lunch of local food with a glass of wine for about 1.5 hours. The tour ends back at the cellar door where it started.
