The space of this old townhouse is a work of art in itself. I was able to forget about everyday life while enjoying the aroma of tea and gazing at the tranquil garden. There are also chair seats (standing style), so there's no need to worry about your legs going numb!

Tea Ceremony and Kimono in a Traditional Japanese House

Unlike typical tea ceremonies, this experience is special because you can enjoy the tea ceremony comfortably using tables and chairs instead of sitting on the floor! Take wonderful photos and videos against the backdrop of the beautiful garden and Japanese house, and learn more about the history and culture of tea ceremonies through a presentation by the host.
In addition, this experience takes place in a traditional house (Kyo-machiya) that is over 100 years old, and there are options to wear a kimono and a private experience option, making it perfect for creating a special trip to Kyoto.
