Mount Fuji, Japan's tallest mountain, is known as the most iconic symbol of the country, and we highly recommend seeing it for yourself. Covered in snow for most of the year, the scenery is even more breathtaking. It's also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, making it well worth the visit.

Different tourist destinations for each season

Basically, you'll want to visit Oishi Park on Lake Kawaguchi for a panoramic view of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi from anywhere in the park, but in spring and fall, you'll be able to see a different side of Mount Fuji.

From April 5th to May 25th, visit the Motosuko Lake Fuji Shibazakura Festival to admire the blue Mount Fuji and the pink shibazakura blossoms. From October 26th to November 20th, visit the Kawaguchiko Maple Corridor to enjoy the picturesque scenery of the red maple trees and the snowy Mount Fuji in the distance!

Arakurayama Sengen Park, with its beautiful harmony of Mount Fuji and cherry blossoms, offers a breathtaking view of the five-story pagoda and Mount Fuji. In winter, the park is blanketed in snow, offering a unique charm, so you can look forward to it!

Mount Fuji 5th Station (五合目) - Visit from April 26 to September 30
: The closest you can get to Mount Fuji is Mount Fuji 5th Station. On clear days, you can enjoy the surrounding scenery and even Lake Kawaguchi. On cloudy and foggy days, you can admire a beautiful sea of clouds, making this a truly captivating spot. Enjoy the panoramic view and the sight of Mount Fuji before your eyes.

Lake Yamanaka
: Lake Yamanaka offers a Swan Lake cruise and hot spring experience. The Swan Lake cruise offers a relaxing 25-minute ride with Mount Fuji and the lake in the background (separate cruise ticket required). For those wishing to soak in the hot springs, a pick-up service is available (separate hot spring fee required). Enjoy a relaxing time while taking in the lake and Mount Fuji scenery!

* Cruise passengers will be provided with one bag of swan or fish food. If the food runs out on the day, no refund will be given.
* We provide a pick-up service to the hot springs using the same vehicle, and you can use Yamanakako Onsen Benifuji-no-Yu or Fujiyama Onsen .
