Shinhotaka Ropeway consists of the 1st Ropeway and the 2nd Ropeway, and since it is a round-trip ticket from Shinhotaka Onsen Station to Nishihotakaguchi Station, you don’t have to buy a separate return ticket, which is convenient! You can enjoy the great outdoors at Nabedaira Kogen Station, and enjoy foot baths and shopping at Shirakabadaira Station, so enjoy your trip to Gifu Prefecture with the even more enjoyable Shinhotaka Ropeway.

Ropeway Usage Guide

1. Take the ropeway from Shinhotaka Onsen Station to Nabedaira Kogen Station.
2. From Nabedaira Kogen Station, walk to Shirakabadaira Station and transfer.
3. Take the ropeway from Shirakaba-daira Station to Nishi-Hotakaguchi Station.

Shinhotaka Onsen Station, the ropeway's departure point, offers restaurants offering meals like curry and ramen, desserts, and even souvenir shops. Be sure to stop by before you depart!
Shirakabadaira Station
Here, you can enjoy a foot bath while looking out at the second ropeway. They also sell bread, pudding, and drinks, so why not try them together?
Nishihotakaguchi Station
: The first and second floors are the station, the third floor is a shop, the fourth floor is a restaurant, and the rooftop is an observation deck. It boasts breathtaking views, earning it two stars in the Michelin Green Guide Japan. Enjoy your time at Nishihotakaguchi Station, brimming with things to see and do.
