I bought a ticket and went in, so I didn't have to wait long, so I liked it. I gave up looking for a place that makes matcha and snacks, and just came because it was time to smell. It's hard to find anywhere.

Highlights

From Skytree Observatory to traditional Japanese experiences
Get it at a double discount price!

Try our special plan that includes admission to Tokyo's landmark Skytree Observatory and a traditional Japanese cultural experience of matcha and making traditional Japanese sweets. If you purchase in advance, you can use it at a lower price than on the day.

At Skytree, you can enter the observation deck without waiting in long lines only at designated times. Also, don't miss the special opportunity to experience matcha and traditional Japanese sweets making at Chazen Cafe located near Asakusa!

Program

Tokyo's new landmark
'Sky Tree'

Completed in 2016, Tokyo Skytree is Tokyo's newest landmark, the first in 100 years since Tokyo Tower. Tokyo Skytree is a whopping 634 meters tall, making it the world's tallest freestanding broadcasting tower.

Tokyo Skytree was named Skytree with the meaning of 'a large tree reaching toward the sky' and is well known to have been designed by Japan's greatest sculptor, Kiichi Sumikawa.

Tokyo Skytree has observation decks at 350m and 450m high, and on a clear day, you can see up to 75km from the observation decks, including Mt. Fuji. And at night, you can see the sparkling Tokyo night view and Tokyo Tower, making it a must-see attraction.

Take a walk along the Sky View Corridor

The most famous spot in Tokyo Skytree is the observation deck on the 450m deck. The observation deck is a glass-covered slope that makes you feel like you are taking a walk in the air. So even if you pay a little more, I highly recommend visiting the 450m observation deck.

As you move along the observation deck, you will come across the highest point, Sorakara Point, at 451.2m above sea level. It would be nice to see that point as well.

Introducing Sorakara Points

The highest point you can see when you move through the observation corridor is the Sorakara Point, a space created like the photo above. The geometric round shape created by light and glass feels mysterious. And it is a very pretty place with a unique sense of space, a sense of floating, and a sculpture inspired by the round Earth.

Introducing Skytree Cafe

After enjoying the view from the 350m high tower, how about an iced Americano with a great view at the Skytree Cafe? You can enjoy a variety of menus including coffee, various drinks, and original sweet snacks!

Enjoy Skytree even more fun!

Tokyo Skytree hosts a variety of fun events and activities every month. Currently, Tokyo Skytree is hosting Skytree Yoga, where you can experience yoga at a height of 450 meters above ground, in collaboration with the All Japan Yoga Federation.

There are various other events, so be sure to check them out in advance by checking the events and then go on your trip!

Experience traditional culture, making matcha and Japanese sweets

Asakusa's first hands-on café! Experience making Japanese sweets and matcha at Chazen Café. This is a popular Japanese café where anyone can easily make Japanese sweets and matcha, and many tourists visit. Here, you can make and taste seasonal Japanese desserts designed by a former Japanese dessert chef.

The staff will teach you in detail how to make Japanese sweets and matcha, so you can enjoy the class without worrying even if you can't cook.

Also, after making pretty-shaped sweets, you can make your own matcha through a tea ceremony experience. You can choose your favorite sweets, teacups, and plates, and take pretty pictures, which will make the fun even more enjoyable!
