With a history of over 100 years,
Kaigeki cuisine genyadana hamayada
Founded in 1912, Genyadana Restaurant boasts over 100 years of history. Genyadana Hamadaya is a Michelin one-star restaurant, a must-visit if you're visiting Nihonbashi! This restaurant consistently recruits exceptional chefs from the Kansai region to provide delicious cuisine for its guests. True to its long tradition, it still serves flavorful kaiseki cuisine.
Hamayada, a place with a traditional feel
Genyadana Hamadaya still embraces tradition. This historic kaiseki restaurant, built in a former Meiji-era okiya (Japanese-style house) by its first owner in 1912, has continued to operate to this day. Guests are greeted with warm smiles by women in traditional kimonos, and the interior, constructed with Japanese wood, emphasizes its traditional character.
This restaurant started out with 3 stars and is currently ranked 1 star since the Michelin Guide Tokyo was launched.
Japanese sensibility food
Hamayada offers elegant, seasonal dishes made with carefully selected seasonal ingredients, adding a touch of sensibility. The menu changes daily, using seasonal ingredients, and most dishes are renowned for their deliciousness. Rather than overly seasoned dishes, the restaurant offers dishes that capture the true flavors of the seasonal ingredients.
