Travel time: 2 hours and 10 minutes from Tenjin, 1 hour and 50 minutes from Hakata, and 1 hour and 15 minutes from Nagasaki Station.

Take the Limited Express Huis Ten Bosch departing from Hakata Station and get off at Huis Ten Bosch.

Huis Ten Bosch is a theme park where you can feel different charms depending on the season. From spring to summer, you can see the most gorgeous yellow tulip festival, and in winter, you can see gorgeous flowers including moth orchids. Also, at night, you can see the illumination of Huis Ten Bosch, which has been ranked number one for 13 consecutive years. The lit-up European street scenery and the illumination that changes with the seasons are really attractive.

Huis Ten Bosch has so much to see that I highly recommend visiting, but I recommend planning a schedule that starts early in the morning and returns at night, as it takes about 4 hours round trip. However, if you watch the illuminations and fireworks at night, the return trip will not be easy, so I recommend booking one of the five official hotels in Huis Ten Bosch.
