The closest subway station is St. Paul's Station on the Central Line. However, it is also close to Mansion House Station, a transfer station for the Circle and District Lines, so you can decide which station is more convenient from your location.

First of all, there is no elevator, so you have to climb the circular stairs to get to the top of the dome, so it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
