Staff were all amazing and accommodating. The trip was rough but staff made sure people were taken care of. The reef was so much fun. I truly recommend this tour!

To start, at the terminal you check your tickets and go to the queue to board the boat. The boat is large and moves very little. During the journey, they offer you a small cake. The first stop is two hours on Isla Verde. If you want, you can snorkel, otherwise, you can visit the island, the beaches. Be quick because time flies while taking beautiful photos, and follow some paths to venture into the small jungle. You get back on the boat and they take you to the coral reef. A journey of a little over half an hour, where the boat also moves very little. There, they provide you with wetsuits, goggles, snorkel, fins, and a life vest to get into the water. You can take a trip in the submarine or stay on the platform. They serve hot and cold food, which is quite good. And 3 hours after arriving, you gather to head back. They offer a snack again. A very beautiful experience. No seasickness at all. Pleasant swim and incredible views. 100% recommended and for all ages.

This day tour takes you from Cairns by air-conditioned high-speed catamaran to both the coral cay of Green Island and the Outer Reef in a single day. After 2 hours of snorkeling and exploring on Green Island, spend 3 hours on a spacious activity platform (pontoon) moored at Moore Reef. The semi-submarine and underwater observatory let you see the reef without getting wet, so you can enjoy the Great Barrier Reef even if you do not swim. Discover Green Island and the Outer Reef
in one day by catamaran

Start your day at the Reef Fleet Terminal in Cairns with tea, coffee and a safety briefing. Depart at 8:30 AM on an air-conditioned high-speed catamaran and arrive at your first stop, Green Island, about 45 minutes later, with morning tea and cake served on the way.

Snorkel and explore Green Island

Spend about 2 hours in the rainforest-covered Green Island National Park. Snorkeling gear is included, so you can snorkel in the sea or explore the island on a self-guided walk and observe marine life. Scuba diving and parasailing are available at extra cost.

Get close to the reef at the Moore Reef pontoon

Travel about 45 minutes more to the Great Adventures activity platform moored at Moore Reef on the Outer Reef. For about 3 hours, swim among coral gardens using snorkeling gear, buoyancy vests and lycra suits, or view the reef without getting wet on a semi-submarine reef tour and at the underwater observatory.

Enjoy a marine biologist reef presentation, a fish feeding presentation and an eco reef talk in the underwater observatory. Scuba diving, underwater scooters and helicopter flights are available as optional extras.

Enjoy a lunch buffet with panoramic views

On the platform, enjoy a lunch buffet of hot and cold dishes including fresh prawns. Afternoon tea and coffee are served while you are on the platform, and cheese and biscuits are served on the roughly 1.5-hour return trip to Cairns.
