Big Island Volcanoes National Park Helicopter Tour (Departs from Hilo)

It was the best view from the sky, riding in a helicopter I couldn't normally ride. I couldn't understand English at all, so it would have been better if they had spoken a little slower.

Our flight with Safari Helicopters in Hilo was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of our entire five-week trip to Hawaii, Alaska and New York. From the moment we arrived, the team in the office made us feel so welcome. I wish I could remember the names of the wonderful ladies who looked after us. They were friendly, professional, and made the whole process easy. When it was time to board the helicopter, everything was explained clearly and patiently, and their helpfulness immediately put me at ease. Our pilot, Andrew, was fantastic. He was calm, friendly, and gave the best commentary throughout the flight. His knowledge of the volcanoes was impressive, and he shared fascinating information while also showing us the island's stunning waterfalls, lush plantations, and spectacular landscapes. The flight itself was amazing value. In just one hour, we were able to see so much of the Big Island from a perspective you simply can't get any other way. One detail I particularly liked

The round trip is absolutely worth it. The staff were very friendly and also placed us well in the helicopter. Despite the poor visibility due to volcanic steam, the pilot made the flight to Kilauea possible and explained a lot about Hilo, the Big Island, and Hawaii in general. It was an incredibly beautiful experience.

Everything was uncomplicated. People, very friendly, helpful.
