This tour allowed us to choose between shopping or bathing in Gotenba, where Mount Fuji comes into view. We also stopped by Fujisan Gochome to visit the original Fujisan Shrine. The date, June 6th, was also meaningful. Oshino Hakkai was great, though I felt the time was a bit short. Nevertheless, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Guide Kim Seol-hwa for her meticulous attention to detail, from the pre-trip chat regarding the meeting place to the kind guidance and recommendations for great restaurants on the day of the trip. I would also like to thank Chris, who was in charge of the Chinese and foreign groups, for helping us with our crystal purchase.

Best Mt. Fuji Spots That Change with the Seasons
This tour's destinations vary depending on the date. From April 26th to November 30th, you'll visit Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station, and from December 1st to April 25th of the following year, you'll visit Arakurayama Sengen Park. Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station is located at an altitude of 2,305m, allowing you to feel the magnificence of Mt. Fuji up close on clear days. If you're lucky, you can also enjoy a panoramic view around Lake Kawaguchiko.
Arakurayama Sengen Park offers a view of Mt. Fuji, a red pagoda, and the townscape in one frame after climbing the 397 steps leading to the pagoda.
Scenic Oshino Hakkai, Mt. Fuji Reflected in Clear Waters
Oshino Hakkai is famous for its eight spring water ponds, which are formed by melted snow from Mt. Fuji that has been purified as it passes through the earth over many years. The water is exceptionally clear and sparkling, allowing you to see all the way to the bottom when viewed up close.
The reason this place is so beloved is because of the reflection of Mt. Fuji. When the wind is calm, Mt. Fuji is reflected on the surface of the pond like a mirror, and you'll realize that the photos don't exaggerate the beauty.
Each pond has a different scenery and atmosphere, allowing you to create completely different shots even in the same location. The walking route is easy and relaxing, making it a great place to take a break during busy travels. Thanks to the clear water and tranquil atmosphere created by nature, this area enhances the overall satisfaction of your trip.
Choose Your Afternoon: Gotemba Outlets Shopping or Mt. Fuji View Onsen Healing
You can choose your afternoon itinerary according to your preferences.
Gotemba Premium Outlets (approx. 2 hours)
If you enjoy shopping, choose this option. The variety of brands and the large scale of the outlets allow you to enjoy shopping to the fullest. On clear days, you can see Mt. Fuji in the background while shopping, making it feel like a travel spot rather than just an outlet. You can also disembark here and travel independently after shopping freely if you wish.
Day Trip Onsen Experience (approx. 2 hours)
If your goal is healing, onsen is the best choice. The standard onsen is Kinohananoyu, which is known for its view of Mt. Fuji directly in front. Relaxing in the large open-air bath while gazing at Mt. Fuji will wash away the fatigue of the day.
*If the onsen is closed, it will be replaced by Gotemba Fuji Hakkei Onsen (approx. 1,000 yen for 3-hour ticket) or Gotemba City Onsen Kaikan (approx. 500 yen for 3-hour ticket).
