Washoku Toku felt like a quiet, hidden restaurant nestled in a Gion alley. Each dish was carefully prepared, and while the chef wasn't overly friendly, he explained everything with sincerity and care, which was very nice. I highly recommend it!

Located in a quiet alleyway away from the bustling streets of Kyoto, Washoku Togu is a restaurant specializing in Japanese traditional cuisine, Kaiseki, where you can enjoy a wonderful dinner with course dishes using fresh seasonal seafood and vegetables.
The nearest station is Kitaoji Station on the Kyoto Karasuma Line, but it's about a 16-minute walk. However, it's a 5-minute walk from Daitokuji Temple📍, a Kyoto tourist spot with a beautiful garden, so we recommend visiting after sightseeing.
With Sake
Washoku Togu offers sake and wine from all over Japan that are good to drink with Kaiseki courses. The chef has carefully selected them, so we recommend ordering a glass of something that goes well with your meal.
