The tour starts with pickup from your accommodation in Levi or Ylläs. The pickup time will be sent before 2 p.m. on the day of the tour. A local guide who knows Lapland and its Arctic climate checks the weather and drives to where the chances of seeing the northern lights are highest.
Chase the aurora with no time limit
Unlike typical tours, there is no fixed route or time limit. You travel as far as needed to find clear skies, with an average duration of 5–7 hours. With a maximum of 8 people per group, you can wait for the aurora in an intimate setting in the middle of the wilderness. Warm drinks are served while you wait.
Capture professional photos with the northern lights
If the northern lights appear, your guide takes professional photos so you can keep a record of this special moment under the Lapland night sky.
