Gear up in Levi
and head to a frozen lake
The experience starts at the meeting point in Levi, where all the equipment needed for ice fishing is prepared. Then you travel by minivan to a lake covered in ice. It runs in a small group of up to 8 people with an English-speaking guide.
Fish through a hole in the ice
When you arrive at the lake, your guide teaches you the basics of ice fishing. You walk on the thick ice to find the best spot of the day, and as is common in ice fishing, you change spots several times while fishing.
Capture the winter lake scenery
The frozen lake is a great place for landscape and wildlife photography. Capture the open lake views with your camera. You will also receive a few trip photos taken by the guide.
Relax by the campfire and taste your catch
Light a campfire and enjoy warm drinks and snacks. If you have caught enough fish, you can grill them. After fishing, you return to the meeting point, and drop-off at your accommodation is available if needed.
