Highlights

Learn from a musher
and drive your own husky sleigh
At the husky kennel, a musher teaches you how to steer the sleigh. After the briefing, you drive a sleigh pulled by a husky team along Lapland's snowy trails. The sleigh ride is 7 km; the 5 km option has a ride a few minutes shorter, but the overall program takes about the same time.
Ride through forests and past lakes in Lapland's winter
The sleighs set off together in a small group, crossing the forest and passing Lapland's lakes. As you ride in rhythm with your husky team, you can see the frozen winter landscape up close.
Warm up in a kota with hot drinks and husky stories
After the ride, relax by the fire in a traditional Finnish kota or tipi. Enjoy warm drinks and cookies while learning about the huskies' personalities, traditional sledding skills and the kennel.
※ Winter overalls and snow boots are not included. Please request them in advance if needed (EUR 10 per person).
