A 4WD jeep explore tour
across Mount Batur's volcanic terrain

Ride a 4WD jeep driven by an experienced driver-guide along scenic routes and off-road trails around Mount Batur. Your guide navigates the trail safely and shares information about the local flora, fauna and the region. The jeeps are equipped with seat belts and roll cages, and you receive safety instructions before the tour begins.

Ride rough off-road trails

Some sections are rough and bumpy, so be ready for an exciting ride. Take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, lush forests and the volcanic crater, with chances to stop for photos along the way.

Sunrise program and day program

For the sunrise program, be ready at the starting point by 4:30 AM and explore the sunrise point and the black lava area. The day program starts at the starting point between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM (last order) and explores Mount Batur's black sand area for 2–3 hours.

Relax at Mt. Batur Lounge

Access to Mt. Batur Lounge is included. Enjoy hot drinks and modern toilets at the lounge, and use the shower facilities subject to availability.
