Highly recommend. Highlight of my time in Ubud! The tour had organized drive with Komang which was very patient with me, kind and entertaining! He was also the one that brought me to hot springs and made sure to take pictures and wait for me to be done swimming! At 4am I was picked up by Wayan. Very welcoming and calm. Takes awesome pictures. Brought me breakfast, gave me blanket and had awesome music taste on the way back down. Ready to accommodate you every step of the way!

Highlights

A private tour to watch the sunrise over Mount Batur from a 4WD jeep, without hiking. Cross the volcanic terrain before dawn to a viewpoint and watch the first light rise over Mount Batur, Lake Batur and the surrounding mountains. Then drive across the black lava field formed by Mount Batur's 1963 eruption to explore the volcanic landscape. The jeep is reserved for your group only, and you can choose whether to add a hot spring and whether to meet at the basecamp or use hotel transfer.

and watch the Mount Batur sunrise

Meet your private jeep driver at the basecamp or travel from your accommodation by vehicle, then cross the rugged volcanic terrain in a 4WD jeep before sunrise. Climb to a viewpoint to watch the first rays over Mount Batur, Lake Batur and the surrounding mountains, and enjoy a light breakfast of biscuits, banana and tea or coffee on the jeep.

Drive across the black lava field

Drive across the black lava terrain formed by Mount Batur's 1963 eruption and take in the volcanic scenery. Your local guide shares the volcano's history and cultural significance. Jeep-only tours are expected to run from 4:30 AM to 8 AM.

Relax at a natural hot spring with hot spring options

With hot spring options, head to a natural hot spring overlooking Lake Batur and Mount Abang after the jeep tour and relax in the warm water. Depending on your option, the tour ends at the jeep basecamp or you return to your accommodation.
