After pickup from your accommodation, drive about 1 hour 35 minutes to Tetebatu to start the walking tour. Stroll through the rice terraces, get a glimpse of the daily lives of locals working in the fields and visit local homes around the village. In Tetebatu you spend about 3.5 hours walking, resting, taking photos and tasting local snacks.

Black monkeys in the rainforest and a hidden waterfall

Head into the rainforest of Mount Rinjani National Park to meet the black monkeys that live there and enjoy the lush scenery. Then continue to a hidden waterfall to swim in the cool water and explore the river and its surroundings.

Lunch at a warung overlooking the rice fields

Enjoy an Indonesian lunch at a local home or warung overlooking the rice fields. After lunch, take in the majestic views of Mount Rinjani.

Try traditional weaving in Sukarara village

Before returning to your accommodation, stop at Sukarara, a traditional weaving village in central Lombok. A local guide or villager explains the village and its handweaving tradition; you can try handweaving, wear traditional clothing and taste Lombok coffee blended with rice. After visiting the cooperative where woven crafts are displayed and sold, your driver-guide takes you back to your accommodation.
