Leave the tourist trail with a local guide and discover Tetebatu's nature and village life. If you stay in Tetebatu, you can set off on foot from your accommodation; pickup from other areas of Lombok is available for an extra fee.
Visit a spice farm and a hidden waterfall
The tour starts at a spice farm, where you taste a herbal drink made from a traditional recipe passed down for generations. Then head into the jungle to find a hidden waterfall, where you can take photos, swim and relax.
Walk the rice terraces and visit the Monkey Forest
Stroll through Tetebatu's rice terraces, enjoy the open views and meet local farmers. After a short break for lunch, continue to the Monkey Forest to watch monkeys moving freely through the trees. With luck, you may see the black monkeys found in this area.
