Andy a été un très bon chauffeur et guide. Nous avons grandement apprécié sa ponctualité et sa disponibilité. Nous avons moins apprécié devoir passer beaucoup de temps sur deux plages remplies de jeunes, sans ombre, alors que nous sommes plutôt d’âge mûr et que nous avons une belle plage à notre hôtel. Nous nous attendions plutôt à des visites touristiques. La description de l’activité devrait peut-être être révisée. Sinon, le spectacle de danse Kecak a été très intéressant et le souper ensuite fut excellent.

We had a wonderful day on the tour, made even better by our driver, Genis, who was friendly, helpful and a pleasure to spend the day with. Both beaches were beautiful and well worth visiting. Padang Padang Surf Beach was challenging , the steep stairs down to the beach — and back up again — certainly tested our fitness! Dinner was enjoyable, with a limited but varied menu to choose from The definite highlight of the day was visiting the temple and watching the fire dance. It was a beautiful and memorable experience and a perfect way to finish the tour. Overall, a fantastic day and one we thoroughly enjoyed.

Highlights

This private tour takes you around the beaches and clifftop temple of South Bali in a private car. You stop at Melasti Beach, Padang Padang Beach and the limestone cave area of Suluban Beach, then head to Uluwatu Temple on a cliff above the Indian Ocean. Depending on the option, you can also watch a traditional Kecak dance at sunset and finish with dinner at a local restaurant. An air-conditioned car, an English-speaking driver-guide and hotel pickup and drop-off are included, so your group can travel at its own pace.

Program

Explore South Bali's beaches
and Uluwatu Temple by private car

After pickup from your accommodation, you tour the beaches and cultural sights of South Bali in an air-conditioned private car. An English-speaking driver-guide accompanies only your group, so there is plenty of time for photos and breaks. The tour lasts about 6–8 hours.

Visit Melasti, Padang Padang and Suluban beaches

First, stop at Melasti Beach for about 1 hour to take photos, stroll along the sand or swim. You also visit Padang Padang Beach.

Next, head to Suluban Beach and spend about 1 hour exploring the limestone caves and coastline around the beach.

Watch the sunset and Kecak dance at Uluwatu Temple

Continue to Uluwatu Temple, perched on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean, and take in the coastal views. Around sunset, watch a traditional Kecak dance performance.

Suluban and Uluwatu entrance fees and the Kecak ticket are provided only if you choose an option that includes them.

End the day with dinner at a local restaurant

After the show, stop at a local restaurant for dinner. With the dinner option, you can choose one dish per person from the menu. After dinner, you are dropped off at your accommodation.
