Meet your local guide at the main gate of Uluwatu Temple. Your guide takes care of the entrance tickets, hands out sarongs and leads you into the visitor area of one of Bali's most sacred coastal temples. With the hotel pickup option, you travel by car directly from your hotel to the temple.

Hear the temple's history along the cliff path

Walk along the limestone cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean as you learn about the temple's origins, historical significance and connection with Dang Hyang Nirartha. Along the way, stop at several viewpoints with ocean views, see the statue of Dang Hyang Nirartha and take photos of Bali's southern coastline. The walking tour before the show lasts about 1 hour.

Watch the 6 PM Kecak dance sunset show

As showtime approaches, your guide leads you to the open-air Kecak amphitheater and helps you enter. Take your seat and watch the Kecak dance starting at 18:00. This traditional Balinese performance combines rhythmic chanting and the dramatic story of the Ramayana epic against the cliffs and sunset.
