Kadek was a wonderful host. He picked us up in a timely manner and told us many facts about the coffee plantations and the mt batur. Pruna was our mountain tour guide and he helped us so much. This was a 5 star trip and we are delighted with the service.

Me and my partner had a great experience with driver Angga and guide Nyoman today. We were picked up from our villa and stopped for coffee along the way. The walk was very scenic and Nyoman was very friendly and knowledgeable. The views from the top of the mountain were amazing. 10/10 ⭐️

Activité inoubliable ! Nous avons eu la chance de voir un magnifique coucher de soleil. La montée est difficile mais nous avons été bien encouragés par notre guide et le spectacle en haut vaut vraiment l'effort de la montée (ainsi que la descente aux lampes frontales).

Bellissima attività di trekking. Il driver è venuto a prendermi personalmente ad un punto di incontro prestabilito e riportato poi la sera. (Molto gentile e professionale) La guida dell’escursione è stata veramente brava, assecondando i ritmi del gruppo. È stata molto disponibile e ha fornito un sacco di informazioni sia a livello di territorio che di cultura locale per rendere la salita/discesa più coinvolgente. Purtroppo arrivati in cima era tutto coperto da nuvole ma anche il turno della mattina aveva preso nuvoloso (non è facile trovare nitido da apprezzarne bene il paesaggio) Lo spuntino preparato dalla guida è perfetto per un po di ristoro (anche abbondante). L’attività svolta al tramonto permette la salita con pochissima gente e di godere di molti spazi. Il rientro in serata permette di godere di un cielo stella to meraviglioso. Super consigliato

Skip the early wake-up: this sunset trek climbs Mount Batur with a guide in the afternoon so you can watch the sun go down from the summit. The whole tour takes about 7 to 10 hours depending on the option.

Choose between an option with pickup from your accommodation and an option meeting directly at Mount Batur Lounge. Entrance fees, a professional guide, trekking poles, bottled water, a mini picnic, and use of Mount Batur Lounge are included.

Hike past the caldera and black lava fields

Climb with your guide using trekking poles while taking in the caldera, hardened black lava, Lake Batur, and green forest. Because the trek takes place in the afternoon, you enjoy the scenery in daylight all the way up. It is a moderate trek and some sections are fairly challenging.

Enjoy a mini picnic as the sun sets

At the top, take in the panorama of the Batur volcano along with Mount Agung, Mount Abang, and Lake Batur to the east. Watch the sunset while enjoying a mini picnic snack prepared by your guide.

Freshen up and relax at Mount Batur Lounge

Before and after the hike, use Mount Batur Lounge, a villa-style lounge with clean modern restrooms and shower facilities. After a shower you can relax with a warm tea or coffee at the lounge. Shower facilities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
