Muang Boran Ancient City is a huge outdoor complex featuring smaller versions of Thailand’s famous temples, palaces, gardens and floating markets. Its five park zones represent different regions of Thailand with a mix of traditional and modern buildings, so you can learn about the country’s history, culture, architecture and arts as you stroll. Open daily 09:00–17:00.

Watch Cultural Performances Included in Your Ticket

At Khun Phaen House (No. 19 on the map), traditional Thai dance and ancient Thai boxing are performed at 10:40, 14:15, 15:15 and 16:40. At the Floating Market (No. 45), Thai cultural shows take place at 11:15, 13:30 and 15:45. Times may change during festivals or special events.

Cook Thai Food Yourself

The papaya salad DIY option runs at 11:30 and 14:00 and comes with a Thai milk tea. The cooking class option takes place at the Northern Thai Village (No. 60) at 12:00 and 16:00, where you make stir-fried pork with holy basil, spicy shrimp soup and papaya salad, with one Thai tea.

Elephant Feeding and Lunch Buffet

With the elephant option, feed rice balls to elephants near the Elephant Home (No. 102). With the lunch option, enjoy a Thai buffet at Pavilion One Restaurant at a time of your choice between 11:00 and 18:00. Combo options also include a visit to the Erawan Museum on the same day.
