This tour of about 12 hours picks you up from your accommodation in Yogyakarta, visits Borobudur Temple and Prambanan Temple, and ends with the Ramayana Ballet in the evening before returning. Climb to the top of Borobudur Temple

After a drive of about 1 hour from Yogyakarta, arrive at Borobudur Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the temple with a local guide for about 2 hours and, with a guaranteed climb ticket, go up the temple structure level by level all the way to the top. With every step, enjoy the natural scenery surrounding the temple.

Hear the stories of the three Hindu gods at Prambanan

Drive about 1.5 hours to Prambanan, the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia dedicated to Shiva, and explore it for about 2 hours. The temple honors the three most important Hindu gods, Brahma, Shiva and Vishnu, and a professional local guide will tell you about its history in detail.

Watch the Ramayana Ballet with Prambanan as the backdrop

The tour ends with the Ramayana Ballet performed against the backdrop of Prambanan Temple. Around 200 performers tell an epic Javanese love story through drama and music. The show lasts about 1.5 hours, after which you drive about 30 minutes back to Yogyakarta.
