This day tour of about 10 hours picks you up from your Yogyakarta accommodation and visits the Selogriyo rice terraces and Kedung Kayang Waterfall. An English-speaking driver-guide travels with you in an air-conditioned vehicle, and groups are limited to 5 people. Get away from the crowds and enjoy the quiet nature of Java.

Walk the Selogriyo rice terraces and meet local farmers

After a drive of about 2 hours from Yogyakarta, spend about 2 hours walking through the wide terraced rice fields with your guide and visiting Selogriyo Temple set among the paddies. Along the way, local farmers share stories about their traditional way of life.

There is also time to relax with a coffee at a local coffee shop overlooking the terraces.

Swim at Kedung Kayang Waterfall

A drive of about 1.5 hours brings you to Kedung Kayang Waterfall. Spend about 2 hours taking in the scenery with Mount Merapi in the background, taking photos and swimming in the pool below the falls.

At the end of the tour, drive about 1.5 hours back to your accommodation in Yogyakarta.
