This 2-day, 1-night cruise starts with a hotel pickup in Hanoi's Old Quarter and explores Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay. Stay in a private suite cabin with a sea-view bathtub and enjoy the meals listed in the itinerary, kayaking and bamboo boat rides, a Vietnamese cooking class and a martial arts session. After brunch on day two, you disembark and are dropped off at your hotel in the Old Quarter.

Cruise through Lan Ha Bay and relax on the beach

On arrival in Ha Long Bay, enjoy refreshments in Heritage's private lounge, then board the cruise and receive a welcome drink. Cruise off the usual tourist routes across Lan Ha Bay's small limestone archipelago and have a lunch buffet at the L'Indochine restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit Ba Trai Dao Beach or Tra Bau Island, known for white sand and caves, to swim, sunbathe or kayak. Back on board, relax in your suite or watch the sunset from the bar.

Cooking class and Western set dinner

Join a live cooking class led by the ship's chef on the sundeck, then enjoy a Western set dinner. Afterwards, choose between squid fishing, cocktails at the upper deck bar or relaxing in your cabin.

Morning martial arts and a bamboo boat cave visit

On the morning of day two, learn the basics of traditional Vietnamese martial arts in the calm of the bay. After a light breakfast, take a bamboo boat into Dark and Bright Cave to admire sparkling stalactites and cave formations.

Return to the cruise to check out, enjoy brunch on board and disembark. Transfer back to Hanoi with drop-off at your hotel in the Old Quarter.
