Board a 5-star cruise at Tuan Chau Marina in Ha Long for a small-group 2-day, 1-night trip in Bai Tu Long Bay. Stay in a double or twin cabin with a private balcony, with a buffet lunch and set-menu dinner on day 1 and breakfast and lunch on day 2. Kayaking, a cooking class, night squid fishing, tai chi and a cave visit are included, with an English-speaking guide on board.

From Hanoi, a limousine picks you up from your Old Quarter hotel around 8:00 AM for the roughly 2.5-hour drive, with a 20-minute rest stop. Pickup from Ninh Binh is at 7:00 AM on request. The round-trip limousine transfer costs USD 25 per person extra.

Kayak at Cong Do
or Vung Vieng fishing village

Start with a welcome drink and cruise briefing at 12:30 PM, then sail among the rock islands of Bai Tu Long Bay over lunch.

From April to October, the boat anchors at the Cong Do area for kayaking among limestone mountains, swimming at a clean beach or relaxing on the white sand. From November to March, the cruise stops at Vung Vieng floating fishing village, known for pearl farming, where you kayak to see local fishermen's life up close.

Spend the evening with
a cooking class and night fishing

In the afternoon, sunbathe on the sundeck or go kayaking at your leisure. Join a chef-led cooking class before dinner at 7:00 PM, then chat at the bar, relax in your cabin or try night fishing.

Morning tai chi and
a visit to Thien Canh Son Cave

Start day 2 with 30 minutes of tai chi on the sundeck at 6:30 AM and a light breakfast at 7:00 AM. At 8:00 AM, take the tender to Thien Canh Son Cave and spend about 30 minutes viewing its stalactites and stalagmites with your guide.

Back on board, pack and check out, then enjoy lunch at 10:30 AM as the boat returns to port. Disembark at 11:30 AM and drive back to Hanoi, arriving at your Old Quarter hotel in the afternoon. To return to Ninh Binh instead, please request in advance.
