Leave your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter by shared shuttle bus, board the cruise at Tuan Chau Marina and spend the night on board. With the 2-day option, you return to Hanoi on day 2. With the 3-day options, you transfer to Ninh Binh for another night in a hotel or bungalow and join a full-day Ninh Binh tour on day 3.

Options 1 and 2 use a 5-star cruise with private balcony cabins, while Option 3 uses a boutique classic cruise with sea-view cabins. An English-speaking guide accompanies you.

Kayak and explore caves
between limestone islands

Pickup is between 7:40 and 8:15 AM on day 1, with a short rest stop on the way. After checking in at Tuan Chau Marina, take a speedboat to your cruise and enjoy a welcome drink and lunch as you sail through Ha Long Bay.

In the afternoon, depending on your cruise, the weather and operating conditions, go kayaking or take a bamboo boat ride, swim or explore a cave in Ha Long Bay or Lan Ha Bay.

Enjoy the sunset, a cooking class
and a night on board

Relax on the upper deck as the sun sets over the bay, and join a Vietnamese cooking class and the sunset party. Dinner is a Vietnamese set menu, after which you can try squid fishing or relax on the sun deck.

On the morning of day 2, join optional tai chi on deck, then continue with kayaking or cave exploration after breakfast. Have brunch as the cruise returns to Tuan Chau Marina.

and Mua Cave in Ninh Binh

With the 3-day options, take a shared limousine to Ninh Binh on day 2 for an overnight stay, with the chance to visit the Hoa Lu night market in the evening. On day 3, after breakfast, visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu and cycle through villages and rice fields.

After a Vietnamese lunch buffet (vegetarian options available), explore the waterways of Tam Coc or Trang An depending on the schedule and local conditions, then climb to the top of Mua Cave for a view of limestone mountains, winding rivers and rice fields.
