Luxor West Bank Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Flight - Hotel & Cruise Pickup

Leave your hotel at dawn
and cross the Nile to the West Bank

Before sunrise, you are picked up from your hotel in Luxor or your cruise ship. A minivan takes you to the pier, a river boat carries you across the Nile, and another minivan brings you to the balloon launch site on the West Bank. Tea and coffee are included.

Join the safety briefing and board the balloon

At the launch site, you receive a safety briefing and meet the pilot and ground crew. After the briefing, you climb into the basket and take off. The launch site is always known, but the direction and speed depend on the wind, so the landing spot is decided by the day's breeze. The pilot uses the burner to fly higher or lower.

See the sunrise and Luxor's landmarks from above

For about 45 minutes, fly over Luxor and the West Bank and take in panoramic views of the city, the Nile and nearby landmarks. As the sun comes up, the whole landscape is bathed in warm golden light. Your guide explains Luxor's history as you pass over sights such as the Temple of Hatshepsut and Karnak.

Receive your flight certificate and return to your hotel

After landing, the pilot presents you with a flight certificate. You then return across the Nile by minivan and river boat to your hotel or cruise ship.
