Fly to Luxor and explore the Valley of the Kings

On day 1 at 3:30 AM, a representative picks you up from your hotel in Cairo and takes you to the domestic airport. On arrival in Luxor, meet your representative and travel to the West Bank of the Nile in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Visit the Valley of the Kings, where many pharaohs including Thutmose I and III, Tutankhamun and Ramses VI are buried, and the Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir el-Bahari), built by the female pharaoh who ruled ancient Egypt.

see more of the West Bank

Continue to Medinet Habu at the foot of the Theban hills and Deir el-Medina, the village of the artisans who built the tombs in the Valley of the Kings, known for its vivid wall paintings. Pass through the Valley of the Queens, where queens, princes and princesses were buried, and see the Colossi of Memnon. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then transfer to your hotel in Luxor for the night.

Visit Karnak and Luxor Temples
and return to Cairo

On day 2, after breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide at 10:00 AM and head to the East Bank of the Nile. Visit Karnak Temple, a vast religious complex dedicated to Amun, his wife Mut and son Khonsu, and Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and completed by Ramses II. After the tour, fly back to Cairo from Luxor Airport, where a representative meets you and takes you to your hotel.
