From Cairo: Luxor 3-Day Private Tour by Sleeper Train

Leave your Cairo hotel
and take the sleeper train to Luxor

On day 1, you are picked up from your Cairo hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and taken to Giza train station. Board the sleeper train to Luxor, enjoy dinner on board, and spend the night in your cabin.

Explore Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple

On day 2, have breakfast on the train and meet your local representative at Luxor station. Start the tour at Karnak Temple, built for the god Amun, his wife Mut and son Khonsu, then visit Luxor Temple to admire its courtyard, the granite statues of Ramses II and the Avenue of Sphinxes.

Discover the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut

Next, visit the Valley of the Kings, home to ancient Egyptian tombs, and continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut, the female pharaoh who ruled ancient Egypt. You also see the Colossi of Memnon, two giant statues depicting Amenhotep III, and lunch is served during the tour.

After the tour, board the sleeper train to Cairo at Luxor station and spend the night on board after dinner. On day 3, after breakfast, a representative will meet you at Giza station and take you back to your Cairo hotel.
