Cairo: Giza Pyramids Desert Quad Bike Private Tour

Ride a quad bike in the desert
near the Pyramids of Giza

Ride a powerful all-terrain vehicle (ATV) across the vast sandy desert around the pyramids. The basic option is a 1-hour ride, and both beginners and experienced riders can speed across the open desert or cruise at their own pace with the guide.

Take photos with the Great Pyramids
in the background

During the ride, you can see the majestic Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure from a different perspective. Riding inside the pyramid complex is not allowed, but the designated desert riding area offers plenty of chances to take photos with the ancient monuments as a backdrop.

Set off after hotel pickup
and a safety briefing

The tour starts with pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza. After a short drive to the desert outside Giza, your guide gives safety instructions and hands out equipment before you get on the quad bike. After the ride, you are taken back to your hotel.

If you choose a camel ride option (30 minutes or 1 hour), you can enjoy a camel ride as well as the quad bike, and the 2-hour option lets you ride the quad bike for 2 hours.

※ Quad biking and camel riding inside the pyramid archaeological site are prohibited by the Egyptian authorities, so the tour takes place in the permitted desert area around the pyramids.
