After an early-morning pickup from your hotel in Cairo, drive about 4 hours (150 miles) in an air-conditioned vehicle to Bahariya Oasis. On arrival, switch to a 4x4 jeep for your desert adventure.

Visit the Black Desert and the cold spring of El Heiz

Your first stop is the Black Desert, with its hills covered in dark volcanic stones. Then continue to El Heiz village and take a refreshing break at its cold spring.

Pass Crystal Mountain and Al Aqabat
to reach the White Desert

Cross the desert by jeep to see Crystal Mountain and the Al Aqabat area. In the White Desert, the highlight of the tour, see a landscape of white limestone rocks shaped by the wind, then head further into the New White Desert.

Relax at the springs and return to Cairo

After exploring, stop at the area's hot and cold springs to unwind, then drive about 4 hours back to your hotel in Cairo.
