From Seoul: Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, Wawoojeongsa Temple & Starfield Suwon Day Tour with Hanbok Experience

Depart from a meeting point in Seoul (Myeongdong Station or Hongik University Station), or get picked up from your hotel with the private option, and travel in an air-conditioned (or heated on cold days) vehicle. See a giant golden Buddha head at Wawoojeongsa Temple

First, visit Wawoojeongsa Temple in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do (about 50 minutes). The main hall houses a gilded Buddha head more than 10 meters tall, and you can see various Buddha statues and sculptures, including stone Buddhas on lotus pedestals, stone pagodas, and stone bells.

Explore UNESCO-listed Suwon Hwaseong Fortress
and Starfield Library

At Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, spend about 80 minutes learning about the strategic layout and defensive structure of walls stretching over 5.7 km, and the story of the fortress built by King Jeongjo to honor his father.

Next, head to Starfield Library in Starfield Suwon for about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Take photos and explore freely in the space filled with grand bookshelves.

Try gimbap making and hanbok wearing
at the laver museum

Finally, visit the laver museum (hanbok experience center) for about 70 minutes. See how laver (gim) is made and buy some as a souvenir, then finish the tour with gimbap-making and hanbok-wearing experiences. After the tour, return to Seoul.
