This round-trip shuttle departs from Banff or Canmore and takes you to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. Since 2024, private vehicle access to Moraine Lake has been restricted, so you can visit both lakes in one trip without driving or worrying about parking. Program
Take the shuttle from Banff or Canmore
to two Rocky Mountain lakes
Depending on your option, board the air-conditioned bus behind the Mount Royal Hotel in Banff or at the Old Canmore Visitor Centre in Canmore. After about 30 minutes you pass Castle Mountain, and about 30 minutes later you arrive at Moraine Lake. Along the way, the driver-guide shares stories about Banff National Park and its iconic sights.
Explore Moraine Lake freely for 1 hour 20 minutes
Enjoy 80 minutes of free time at Moraine Lake, sparkling turquoise beneath towering peaks. You can stroll along the shore or take a short hike and photos.
Stroll along the shore of Lake Louise
A bus ride of about 25 minutes takes you to Lake Louise, where you again have 80 minutes to sightsee and walk. Afterwards, the bus returns to your departure point in about 1 hour.
The winter option operates as a shuttle to Lake Louise and Marble Canyon.
