Depart from Mount Cook Airport and fly over Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park for about 45 minutes, using both a ski plane and a helicopter. A live guide and an audio guide in English accompany you, and you can use your camera and phone during the flight.
Pass over the Tasman Valley and glacial lakes
After take-off, fly high over the Tasman Valley and look down on the glacial lakes. Before landing on the Tasman Glacier snowfields, admire the Hochstetter Icefall and soaring Aoraki/Mount Cook.
Land on the Tasman Glacier snowfields
Land on the snowfields of the Tasman Glacier, New Zealand's longest glacier, and take time to enjoy the alpine environment covered in snow and ice year-round. Then switch aircraft and return to Mount Cook Airport. During the tour you can also see the Tasman Terminal Lake, the Grand Plateau, Plateau Hut and the Tasman Glacier.
