On this semi-private food tour, a small group of up to 6 people walks through central Sydney with an English-speaking guide and tastes eight carefully selected Australian foods. You'll meet at Customs House in Circular Quay, where your guide starts the tour.

Each dish represents a chapter in Australia's evolving food culture, and the behind-the-scenes stories your guide shares give you a deeper understanding of how Australians eat.

Start the day with a flat white
and Vegemite toast

The tour begins at Circular Quay with an authentic flat white and Vegemite toast. Moving around Martin Place and Sydney Town Hall, you'll then taste Australian favourites such as meat pies, Anzac biscuits and fusion street food. Foods may vary depending on the route.

Pass the Queen Victoria Building and
ride the tram to the Opera House

Between tastings, stroll past city landmarks such as the Queen Victoria Building. After a ride on the light rail tram, walk around the Sydney Opera House and enjoy views of the Harbour Bridge and The Rocks.

Finish with an Indigenous grazing platter
at the Opera House

To end the tour, enjoy a grazing platter of native ingredients such as smoked kangaroo and emu at Midden by Mark Olive at the Sydney Opera House. If you choose the alcohol upgrade, 2 drinks are included.
