This was a truly wonderful tour! The private museum isn't large, but it boasts a rich collection. The exhibitions are emotionally engaging and well-written, making for a truly engaging experience. Even artifacts I might have simply passed by without the guide's explanations, but hearing the stories behind them made the experience all the more moving.
The mausoleum was also incredibly peaceful and beautiful. It had a different atmosphere from the crowded tourist areas, and it felt healing. After the tour, Vietnam felt deeper and richer.
Recommended for those who want to spend some quiet, humanistic time in Hanoi, something not common in Hanoi!

I didn't expect much...😭 This tour was much more satisfying than I thought! When I think of Hanoi, I only think of Hoan Kiem Lake, but I was completely enchanted by the delicate display of traditional Vietnamese art, costumes, and ceramics at the private museum. 👏The guide spoke English well and explained everything carefully, so I understood everything very well.
At the mausoleum, I learned a lot about history by looking at places related to President Ho Chi Minh, and I got to know the deep charm of Hanoi. It was a great itinerary that was both local and informative. 👍

It was the best tour of my life :) I only knew about Hanoi, Hoan Kiem Lake and the delicious restaurants, but after doing this tour, I got to experience Vietnamese history in a much more three-dimensional way.

The guide explained each private museum in great detail, so I was able to understand it much more deeply than if I just walked around. It was interesting because there was a flow from the French colonial era to war, folklore, and up to the present.

I was particularly impressed by the stories I heard at the Vietnam Women's Museum, and I understood why the Ngoc Son Temple and Mausoleum are so important to the locals.

It was quiet and there weren't many people, so I was able to look around leisurely, and I was able to take as many pictures as I wanted, so I was very satisfied! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to know not only the outside of Hanoi, but also the 'inside'.

Program

Introducing Hanoi, the Capital of Vietnam

Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam, a charming city where a thousand years of history come alive. A harmonious blend of past and present, Hanoi offers a vibrant energy within a serene atmosphere. It boasts a unique ambiance where French colonial architecture meets traditional Southeast Asian aesthetics.

Explore the diverse charms of Vietnam's history, culture, and nature in Hanoi, and visit key historical landmarks.

Tran Quoc Pagoda: 1450 Years of History

Nestled amidst the scenic beauty of Hanoi's West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda is one of Vietnam's oldest pagodas, initially built in the 6th century during the reign of Ly Nam De. With a rich history spanning over 1450 years, this pagoda, meaning 'Temple Protecting the Nation,' is a sacred place and a source of pride for the Vietnamese people.

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum: Where Vietnam's National Hero Rests

The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, located in Hanoi's Ba Dinh Square, is where the body of Vietnam's national hero, President Ho Chi Minh, is enshrined. More familiarly known as 'Ba Dinh Lang' to the Vietnamese people, this is a place where you can feel the respect and love for President Ho Chi Minh, who led Vietnam to independence and reunification. Please note that wearing shorts is prohibited when entering the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. More details about the tour itinerary can be found in the tour course section.
