BESTIt was a really hot day, so I arrived sweating a lot, but when I returned it when I rented it, I was so thankful that I didn't wrinkle my face and treated me so kindly. It was such a fun and good experience. Thank you.

What kind of kimono should I wear?
There are many types of kimono, but among them, yukata is the type that Koreans are relatively familiar with. However, as is well known, yukata is worn after bathing, so it is not very suitable for Asakusa. Since you often have the opportunity to wear them when visiting hot springs or ryokans, I will introduce you to kimonos that are good to wear in Asakusa.
I recommend Houmongi (訪問着), which is good to wear when going out. Houmongi is the most commonly used kimono among formal kimonos, and is recommended because it has the richest and most colorful colors and patterns, so it looks good in photos and makes you feel like the main character. Also, contrary to the colorful pattern, the sleeves are short, making it comfortable to buy food on the street.
Asakusa, which retains the atmosphere of old Tokyo
Asakusa is a travel destination where you can feel the atmosphere of old Tokyo. As you walk down the street, you can see people wearing kimonos or dressed up as geishas. I will introduce you to what to do in Asakusa, which has a uniquely Japanese atmosphere.
First, you can see traditional crafts and street food at Nakamise Shopping Street. Hanayashiki Amusement Park offers rides and cafes, while riverside Kuritz Sumida Park regularly hosts festivals and fireworks. A trendy, high-end restaurant area is being developed along the riverside, and the back alleys are lined with casual izakayas. Lastly, there is a lot to see and do, including Sensoji Temple, which you must visit.
Sensoji, the largest temple in Tokyo
Sensoji is the largest temple in Tokyo. The large paper lantern you see in the photo welcomes you to Sensoji Temple.
Don't you think it would be a fun memory to pick up the 'Omikuji', a Japanese fortune telling tool at Sensoji Temple, and try to predict your future?
Full of delicious snacks! Nakamise Shopping Street
Nakamise Shopping Street is the oldest shopping street in Japan. It is located not far from Sensoji Temple, the main temple of Asakusa, so it is a must-visit course.
You can find a variety of foods at Nakamise Shopping Street, and we recommend that you don’t miss out on the essential Japanese snacks such as dango, melon bread, and croquette!
