I boarded with my 6 and 4 year old kids. It was a fun experience for both adults and kids because you can cruise and see the fish in the sea at the same time! About 10 Japanese families and 2 or 3 foreign tourists boarded together. There were plenty of seats everywhere and it was a comfortable trip with the cool sea breeze. You meet 20 minutes before departure, go out to the sea, which is a viewpoint, for about 20 minutes, go down to the bottom of the ship for about 20 minutes to see the fish and coral, and then return for another 20 minutes. If you get seasick, be sure to bring a plastic bag and take motion sickness medicine!
