at a hammam in Taksim

When you enter the Turkish bath (hammam), you lie on the warm central marble platform (göbektaşı) under the grand dome, letting the gentle heat relax your muscles and open your pores. Towels, a peştemal (traditional wrap) and slippers are provided so you can relax comfortably.

Enjoy a kese scrub and olive oil foam massage

Once your body has adjusted to the warmth, a professional bath attendant (tellak/natır) gently removes dead skin with a traditional silk glove (kese). Then you receive a massage with rich foam made from organic olive oil soap to ease the fatigue of travel. Finally, cool down slowly in the cooling lounge with Turkish tea and snacks.

Choose your program

The Traditional Hammam Program (1 hour) includes 15 minutes of sauna, 15 minutes in the steam room, a 15-minute full-body scrub and a 15-minute foam massage. The Sultan Program (1.5 hours) adds a 30-minute full-body oil massage, and the Sultan VIP Program (2 hours) includes hand peeling, a face mask and a 45-minute oil massage. The Ottoman Deluxe Program (2.5 hours) adds a full-body mud mask, hand peeling and face mask, plus a 50-minute oil massage and 20 minutes of reflexology.
