Meet at the Lapponia Tours safari house in Saariselkä, receive warm clothing, then transfer about 15 minutes to the reindeer farm (Joikun Kotakahvio / Porofarmi). Reindeer sleigh riding is a tradition of the Sámi, Europe's indigenous people; sit comfortably in the sleigh and glide through quiet nature under the Arctic sky.
Feed the reindeer and relax by the campfire
During breaks on the tour, you can feed the friendly reindeer yourself. Enjoy a warm drink by the campfire on a night in the forest, and if the sky is clear, look up and wait for the aurora. After the farm visit and sleigh ride, transfer about 15 minutes back to the meeting point.
※ The aurora is a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed.
※ Reindeer are very sensitive to flash, so flash photography is strictly prohibited during the tour.
