From Ubud/Canggu: Mount Batur Sunrise Trek & Natural Hot Spring Tour - Summit Breakfast

Climb Mount Batur at dawn
for sunrise and a hot spring

Depart between 1:30 and 2:30 AM depending on your accommodation and head to Mount Batur, an active volcano near Kintamani village. Enjoy sunrise and breakfast at the summit and explore around the crater, then relax in a natural hot spring on the way down and stop at a coffee plantation before returning around 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Depending on your option, choose accommodation pickup, a meeting point in Ubud or Canggu, or meeting at Mount Batur.

Start the trek in the dark with a local guide

On arrival, enjoy hot drinks and snacks at the starting point, receive your trekking equipment and listen to a short introduction and safety briefing. Then hike for about 1 hour 30 minutes with a local guide, who has climbed Mount Batur since childhood, toward the highest volcanic crater in Bali.

Watch the sunrise over breakfast at the summit

Reach the summit in time for sunrise and enjoy a light breakfast as the surrounding landscape slowly lights up. After sunrise, walk around the crater before descending the slopes of lava and black sand.

Rest your legs in a natural hot spring

After the descent, stop at a natural hot spring around 9:00 AM to soothe your legs. The hot spring ticket is included, so bring your swimwear. On the way back, visit a coffee plantation.
