This 1-day pass lets you hop on and off the Hearts Shuttle, a scheduled sightseeing bus linking scenic spots between JR Kan-onji Station and JR Takuma Station, as often as you like for the day. The Hearts Shuttle is a scheduled sightseeing bus running between JR Takuma Station and JR Kan-onji Station. On the day of use you can get on and off at any stop as many times as you like, so just hop off at a spot you like, look around, and catch the next bus. Look for the red, blue and yellow bus stops and the bus with heart designs.
Visit Chichibugahama Beach and Takaya Shrine
Chichibugahama is a beach known as a photo spot where the sky is reflected on the water around sunset. Takaya Shrine is famous for its "Torii Gate in the Sky", with views of Kan-onji city and the sea beyond the torii on the mountaintop; the bus stops at the Takaya Shrine Shimomiya (lower shrine) stop. For limited periods such as the cherry blossom season, the bus also runs up to the summit of Mt. Shiude.
Enjoy Zenigata Sunae and the Kan-onji port area too
From the Zenigata Sunae observation deck in Kotohiki Park, you can look down on a giant sand drawing of the old coin "Kan'ei Tsuho". There are also stops at Kotohiki Kairo and Kan-onji Port, so you can plan your day around meals or a hot spring.
