Riyadh Full-Day City Tour - National Museum, Masmak Fortress, Kingdom Tower & Hotel Pickup

Discover Saudi history at the National Museum
and Murabba Palace

After hotel pickup, the tour begins at the National Museum, which represents Saudi Arabia's national heritage and culture. You can see artifacts covering the history of the Arabian Peninsula up to modern times.

Next, you head to the nearby Murabba Palace. This former royal residence, where King Abdulaziz held court, takes its name from its 40 m x 40 m square shape. You also take a short look at King Abdulaziz's personal collection in a modern building near the palace. With the lunch option, you then have lunch in the city.

Walk through Deira Souq and Masmak Fortress

In the afternoon, you move downtown to explore old Riyadh. The old Deira Souq is known for carpets, traditional Saudi antiques and men's clothing, and you can smell sandalwood as you walk. An auction is held every Friday.

You also visit Masmak Fortress, a short walk from the souq. Built in 1895 during the rule of Abdullah bin Rashid, it was captured by King Abdulaziz in 1902, an event that led to the founding of the modern Saudi kingdom.

Look over the city from the Kingdom Tower Sky Bridge

Finally, you head to Riyadh's landmark Kingdom Tower and enjoy panoramic city views from the Sky Bridge observation deck, about 300 m high. After the tour, you return to your hotel.
