From Yogyakarta/Surabaya/Malang/Bali: Tumpak Sewu Bromo and Ijen Tour - Bali Drop-off

Depending on your departure city, this 3-day/2-night (Surabaya and Malang) or 4-day/3-night (Yogyakarta and Bali) tour visits Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, Mount Bromo and Ijen Crater. An English-speaking driver and guide accompany you, and accommodation, breakfast on days 2–4, land and sea transportation, and entrance fees and permits for all three sites are included.

From Yogyakarta, you travel to East Java by car or train on the first day. From Surabaya and Malang, you head straight to Tumpak Sewu after pickup. From Bali, the evening pickup is followed by a ferry and car ride to East Java.

Explore Tumpak Sewu Waterfall and its surroundings

The trip begins at Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Walk around the falls with a local trekking ranger and enjoy the waterfall and the surrounding scenery up close.

Watch the sunrise at Mount Bromo

Ride a 4WD jeep to Mount Bromo and watch the sun rise against the surreal volcanic landscape. A local trekking ranger also accompanies you at Mount Bromo.

Hike to the rim of Ijen Crater

The final highlight is a hike at Ijen Crater, known for its blue fire and turquoise crater lake. A flashlight and gas mask are provided, and a local trekking ranger joins you. After the tour, cross to Bali and finish at your hotel in central Pemuteran, Ubud, Canggu, Kuta or Uluwatu (the Bali departure option with Malang drop-off ends in Malang).
