This ticket gives you access to the permanent exhibition of the Ichijodani Asakura Family Ruins Museum, the gateway facility to the ruins. Highlights include a life-size reconstruction of part of the residence where Asakura Yoshikage lived, an on-site display of excavated stone paving, and a 1/30 scale diorama of the castle town. The museum opened in 2022.

The Ichijodani Asakura Family Ruins Museum serves as the gateway to the Ichijodani Asakura Family Ruins, a Special Historic Site of Japan. With this ticket you can explore the permanent exhibition and learn about the history of the castle town ruled by the Asakura clan.

The museum recreates part of the Asakura residence, where Asakura Yoshikage lived, at life size. You can take a close look at the living space of a Sengoku-period daimyo.

Stone paving believed to be part of Ichijo-no-Irie, a river port and logistics hub, is displayed exactly as excavated. You can also see a diorama recreating the castle town at 1/30 scale.
