This is an admission ticket to the Arttrick Museum at Yokohama Daisekai, an entertainment complex in Yokohama Chinatown. Arttrick is an optical illusion art form that builds on trompe-l'œil, a 3D painting technique from Europe, adding perspective, shading, color and lighting so that flat paintings look three-dimensional. You can take your own photos of being grabbed by a giant octopus, floating in mid-air or stepping into a masterpiece. With its renewal on March 23, 2024, a new Horror Trick Corridor opened on the 8th floor.

The Arttrick Museum is a hands-on museum where you can take realistic, mysterious photos using optical illusions. One work after another tricks your eyes and senses, from scenes where you seem about to fall into a pit to scenes where a child seems to turn into a giant.

Each work shows a sample pose and a recommended camera position. You can copy the examples or come up with your own poses. Some works look even more three-dimensional when viewed with one eye or through a photo.

The Horror Trick Corridor opened on the 8th floor with the renewal on March 23, 2024. It is a space filled with scary illusion tricks.
※ Opening hours may vary slightly by season, and some facilities and activities may be closed.
