Depart from your Luxor accommodation in a modern, air-conditioned private vehicle and travel to Aswan. Your guide and driver accompany you throughout, and you spend one night at the City Max Corniche hotel in Aswan.

Day 1: Philae Temple and the Unfinished Obelisk

Explore Philae Temple, built to honor Isis, the main goddess of the island, with your guide. After lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan, visit the Unfinished Obelisk, which shows the techniques ancient Egyptians used to carve obelisks. It is believed to have been intended for Queen Hatshepsut.

Next, visit the Aswan High Dam with views over Lake Nasser and learn about the development of modern Egypt before heading to your hotel.

Day 2: The two temples of Abu Simbel

After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Abu Simbel with your guide and driver. Visit the Great Temple of Ramesses II, famous for its colossal statues, and the Temple of Queen Nefertari, also known as the Temple of Hathor.

Lunch in Aswan and return to Luxor

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan followed by some free time. Then return to Luxor by private vehicle to end the tour.
