After pickup from your hotel on Luxor's East Bank, your private tour for your group only begins. An Egyptologist guide accompanies you all day and explains the history and mythology of each site.

Explore the tombs of the Valleys of the Kings and Queens

First, cross to the West Bank and spend about 2 hours in the Valley of the Kings, visiting three tombs including the famous tomb of Tutankhamun. Then spend about 1 hour in the Valley of the Queens, home to the tombs of queens, princesses and high-ranking officials.

Admire the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon

Spend about 1 hour at Queen Hatshepsut's mortuary temple, considered a masterpiece of ancient architecture, admiring its three massive terraces rising toward the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Next, stop at the Colossi of Memnon to see the site of Amenhotep III's mortuary temple, then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Finish with Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple

In the afternoon, return to the East Bank and spend about 2 hours exploring Karnak Temple, built for the god Amun, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. Finally, spend about 1 hour at Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and completed by Ramses II, before returning to your hotel.
